Featured Project: The Colorado Springs Day Nursery
Project Overview: This is a multi-phased rehabilitation project to stabilize the exterior of the 1924 Colorado Springs Day Nursery Building (owned and operated by Early Connections Learning Centers). It has been in continuous use as a child care facility since construction. Projects completed include three phases of stained-glass window rehabilitation, wood window rehabilitation, door rehabilitation and exterior trim rehabilitation. The final phase of work will begin in 2023 with the help of a State Historical Fund grant.
Services provided by The Preservation Studio: TPS assisted the Early Connections Learning Centers with each phase of the work including grant and project management services.
